Dr. Neil Millikin, DICOA™ Training Director, is a graduate of the University of California Dental School at San Francisco, and has been active in the practice of dentistry for the past 25 years. 

Dr. Millikin is a recognized leader within the dental profession, lecturing nationally to audiences of dentists and other leaders in the dental care industry. Many of his ideas, first presented as a featured speaker at the Washington DC Conference on Dental Practice, have implemented changes in the way dentistry is delivered throughout the United States.  His lectures and clinical workshops are recognized by the State of California as a continuing education resource for dentists and their team members throughout the state.  

Dr. Millikin has studied the comparative dental care delivery systems in over 32 countries, including Japan, Singapore, China, Thailand, Australia, England, France, the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Israel, Egypt, and Mexico.    His familiarity with the social, economic, and medical aspects of dental practice have led him to be invited to serve as a consultant to state and federal governments, as well as public health and dental public policy boards.  

With two doctoral degrees in dentistry and in law, Dr. Millikin is recognized as a national authority on dentistry and the law, with emphasis on helping the dental management industry to understand the factors that create excellence in both financial and clinical performance.   His expert testimony has helped establish greater understanding by government and the private sector, as to the importance of dental care and the best ways to ensure excellence in it’s delivery. 

Dr. Millikin's dental work has been featured on ABC television’s “Extreme Makeover” show.    His television appearances also include a variety of medical programs,  where he has been invited to discuss topics from public health and disease prevention, to the business of dental care delivery.
